The activities of the European Chamber for Sustainable Development include:
- Combined study and research in all areas of sustainable development.
- Contribute to, design, formulate and implement the strategy and policies of development and institutional support of all activities related to sustainable development.
- To inform and raise awareness among consumers and vulnerable groups (e.g. students) about the principles of sustainable development and its aspects in all areas of human activity.
- The provision of systematic information and education/training services to any group interested in sustainable development as well as the provision of technical support and know-how to these groups.
- Contribute, complement and control the activity of public and non-state services and cooperate with development companies for the proper management of natural ecosystems and the implementation of development projects based on the principles of sustainable development.
- The development of structures and actions that promote social solidarity, reduce poverty and give access to food and water.
- To promote and support all forms of cooperation with all institutions and organizations that aim to protect nature and cultural heritage.
- The establishment and development of relations and partnerships with the services of Ministries, such as Agriculture, Development, Environment, etc., with the respective EU Directorates as well as with International Organizations of any kind.
- Participation in development cooperation programs of NGOs of the EU and other multilateral International Organizations.
- To promote emergency humanitarian food and development aid actions and programmes as well as restructuring and rehabilitation assistance for developing countries with a view to sustainable development, environmental protection, ecological agriculture and their social and economic development.
- The elaboration of sectoral and sectoral studies, surveys and statistical analyses on own account as well as on behalf of, indicatively and not restrictively, associations, associations, federations, private and public sector institutions.
- The elaboration of standards, regulations, protocols on own behalf as well as on behalf of, indicatively, associations, associations, federations, private and public sector institutions.
- To carry out research and experimental development in science and engineering, including, but not limited to, research and experimental development in education, agriculture, environment, energy, shipping, tourism, transport, public administration, information technology, communications, interactive multimedia, etc., as well as research and experimental development of an interdisciplinary nature.
- Research and experimental development in social sciences and humanities, including, but not limited to, research and experimental development in cultural sciences, sociology and economic sciences.
- The development of research, the improvement of knowledge, the gathering of information on the orientation of production to the principles of sustainable development, which meet human needs and expectations, quality, the protection of soils and water and in general respect for the environment and resources.
- The publication of newspapers, magazines and books of all kinds in Greece and abroad in any way and by any means (printed or electronic) in order to inform and inform everyone interested about the principles of sustainable development and its aspects.
- The provision of high-tech services, including, but not limited to, the development and exploitation of various information, scientific, educational and technical portals for the information, information, education and technical support of each interested party as well as the promotion of the principles of sustainable development.
- The organization of conferences, workshops, events, discussions and exhibitions of all kinds (e.g. trade fairs, business missions).
- The development of tools and guides of good practices that will help their users to effectively implement technologies and methods in accordance with the principles of sustainable development.
